America's Junior Miss - America's Junior Miss is a national scholarship program of 48 years created to provide young high school seniors with the opportunity and support needed to succeed before, during, and after attending college. In its existence, over 700,000 young ladies participated in competitions spanning the United States, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, among them were over 2000 lucky contestants who reached the national finals held in the program's birthplace of Mobile, Alabama.
Miss America - The Miss America pageant (not to be confused with the similar Miss USA pageant) is a long-standing competition which awards prizes to young female contestants from the states of the United States of America. The first prize winner of the national pageant is awarded the title of "Miss America" for one year.
Miss Black America - The Miss Black America pageant is a competition for young Black American women in areas such as speech, talent, style, and poise, essentially the Black version of the popular Miss America pageant.
